VoxStar Terms of Use

1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the VoxStar mobile app ("the app"). By using the app you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the app.
2. The service
VoxStar voices the text you write in the voice of the character you choose, using AI text-to-speech (TTS). Character voices are synthetic; they don't belong to or represent any real person.
3. Your account
You need to sign in with Google or Apple to create voiceovers. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You can permanently delete your account at any time under Profile > Delete account.
4. Credits and payments
- Each voiceover uses 1 credit. The first 3 voiceovers on a new device are free; this is granted once per device.
- Credits are sold as one-time packs through the App Store or Google Play; there are no subscriptions. Payments are processed by the respective store.
- We may change the prices of credit packs and the number of credits they contain. Such changes apply only to future purchases; credits you have already bought stay in your balance and work exactly as before. Current prices are always shown on the purchase screen.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred and are tied to your account. Deleting your account also deletes any remaining credits.
- Refund requests are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies. If a voiceover fails because of a technical error, the credit is automatically returned to your account.
5. Content and responsibility
- You alone are responsible for the text you voice and for how you use the resulting audio.
- You may not use the app for anything unlawful; anything that infringes others' rights; harassment, threats, hate speech or fraud; or to impersonate someone else.
- You may use and share generated audio for personal, non-commercial purposes. Presenting generated audio as the voice of a real person is prohibited.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The app, character artwork, logo and character voices belong to VoxStar or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced or distributed except as these terms allow.
7. Changes and availability
We may change or remove characters, voices and features to improve the service. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.
8. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
11. Copyright notices
Most character voices are licensed from third-party AI voice providers (e.g. ElevenLabs); some voices and artwork may come from other sources. If you believe a voice, image or other content in the app infringes your copyright or personality rights, email voxstar@proton.me describing the content and your rights. Notices are reviewed and content found to infringe is removed.
